About me
Since becoming a lawyer in 2005, Jason’s career has focused almost exclusively on criminal defense. He practiced as a public defender in Palm Beach and Escambia counties for 7 years before going into private practice. His firm specializes in all areas of criminal defense at the trial and appellate levels. In addition to being a Board Certified Criminal Appellate attorney, Jason has been recognized as a Super Lawyer and is rated an AV Preeminent attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.
Jason has served two tenures as president of the Escambia/Santa Rosa criminal defense bar and served as his local FACDL chapter rep for many years. He is currently a Director-at-Large of FACDL and is in his fifth year as co-chair of the FACDL rules committee. During that time, he has filed numerous rule comments in the Florida Supreme Court and has appeared before the Court for oral argument. Jason is also actively involved in the FACDL by-laws and legislative committees. Finally, he is in his third year on the Florida Bar Criminal Procedure and Rules Committee, currently serving as the chair of the General Rules Subcommittee.
Jason practices out of Pensacola in the First Judicial Circuit.
