About me
Michele Borchew is a Chicago native. While attending University of Illinois at Chicago (formerly John Marshall), she clerked for the Cook County Public Defender's Homicide Task Force and later the Mississippi Office of Collateral Post-Conviction Counsel working on relief petitions for death row inmates. Upon graduation, Michele joined the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office where she was trained by highly talented trial lawyers. In 2021, she entered private practice at Rier Jordan, PA, where she secured not guilty verdicts in numerous homicide cases. In 2023, seeking more autonomy over her practice style, she founded Borchew Law. As a solo practitioner, Michele has gained a reputation for zealous advocacy regardless of a case's challenges.
